A surgical procedure is much more involved than a physical exam, so a pre-scheduled appointment is necessary. We'll perform an exam and evaluate their overall health and recommend pre-surgical lab work. These laboratory results will help our veterinarians make informed decisions about your pet's health prior to undergoing anesthesia.
When your pet is ready to go home, we will review your postoperative care and medication instructions. If any questions arise after your pet returns home or at any other time during the postoperative period, call us. Help is only a phone call away.
